In-Service Training on “Employee Rights and Mobbing” was Given
Within the Faculty of Dentistry and Oral and Dental Health Application and Research Center; ÇOMÜ Legal Advisor V.Dr. Lecturer Member İlker Karaönder gave in-service training on "Employee Rights and Mobbing" to academic and administrative staff.
Before the training, Nurse Meltem Saydam defined mobbing as "Psychological violence, siege, harassment, disturbing and distressing" in her presentation; Information was given about the historical process of the emergence of mobbing, the parameters used in mobbing diagnosis, individual precautions to be taken by people exposed to mobbing, and what to do after the White Code warning.
Dr. Lecturer Member İlker Karaönder, in the in-service training titled "Employee Rights and Mobbing", stated the legal basis of mobbing and gave information about employee health insurance, types of mobbing, under what circumstances mobbing occurs, and the legal methods and processes that those who are exposed to mobbing should follow.
Dr. gave information about the articles in the Turkish Penal Code regarding the White Code, which is used in situations such as physical attack, verbal attack, threat, theft and sexual harassment that may occur to a healthcare worker. Lecturer Member Karaönder answered the questions of the participants at the end of the training.
