The 'Digital Dentistry' project has been accepted under TÜBİTAK-2237-A
TÜBİTAK Scientific Training Activities Support Program (2237-A) conducted by the Presidency of The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK BİDEB) has accepted the project titled 'Digital Dentistry: Future Developments and Impacts of Technological Applications and Interactive Learning Techniques' within its scope.
In the project to be held on February 14-16, 2024, in partnership with ÇOMÜ, Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, and Ankara University; Prof. Dr. İlgi Tosun, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, will serve as the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, while Assoc. Prof. Dr. Celal Genç, Deputy Chief Physician of the Oral and Dental Health Application and Research Center, and Dr. Cumali Yaşar, Research Assistant from the Faculty of Education, will contribute as project coordinators on behalf of our university.
The project, featuring a presentation by Kazunori Nozaki from Osaka University in Japan on "Dental Informatics," aims to comprehensively instruct participants on how digital dentistry technologies and interactive learning techniques are utilized in dental practice and education. It also aims to illustrate how these technological approaches can contribute to future applications and professional advancements. Simultaneously, the project intends to facilitate young academics in effectively understanding and implementing digital dentistry technologies and interactive learning techniques.
