The Academic Council Meeting for the Fall Semester of the Faculty of Dentistry was held with the participation of our University's Rector, Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Evren Karayel Gökkaya, Scientific Research Projects (SRP) Coordination Unit Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sercan Karav, and the academic staff of our faculty.
The meeting commenced with a moment of silence and the national anthem. Dean Prof. Dr. İlgi Tosun presented the academic activities and initiatives carried out during the 2022-2023 academic year at our faculty, along with the planned initiatives for the 2023-2024 academic year through a presentation.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sercan Karav highlighted the significance of being a research university, providing insights into our university's quality, research policies, and the support offered by the Scientific Research Projects (SRP) Coordination Unit and international programs.
After a speech from Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu, which encompassed discussions on academic activities, project development, and the university's vision, the meeting came to a close.
