The faculty members and research assistants of the Faculty of Dentistry attended the 'Dentistry Faculty Academicians Meeting Event' (Meet-up Academy-2) organized by Çanakkale Technopark.

At the event attended by ÇOMÜ (Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University) Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu, Dean Prof. Dr. İlgi Tosun, and Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Hakan Eren, Çanakkale Technopark General Manager Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkan Bil gave a presentation on the activities of Technopark, its impact on the regional economy and the technology sector, and the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The faculty academicians who gathered information about the opportunities provided by Technopark and entrepreneurship prospects shared their ideas on topics such as projects for main branches, technology-focused entrepreneurship, business development models, dental education, and the use of technology in health services.

Expressing excitement about the emergence of promising ideas during the event, ÇOMÜ (Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University) Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu said, 'We will carry out excellent work in our Faculty of Dentistry and our Oral and Dental Health Application and Research Center. We will bring together an international-level R&D environment with you. We need your ideas.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkan Bil, stating that events of this kind provide an opportunity to establish a bridge between the academic world and the industry, emphasized the need to follow global trends. He highlighted that incorporating artificial intelligence into jobs and business processes, which is one of these trends, will create new opportunities. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkan Bil mentioned that their doors are always open to valuable ideas.
