The 'Accessible Çanakkale Workshop,' organized by the Çanakkale Governorate under the auspices of the Directorate of Family and Social Services, was held at the Sea Police Club to support the structuring of initiatives that respond to the needs and expectations of individuals with disabilities, eliminate the limits of disability, and promote sustainable, realistic, innovative, and inclusive knowledge and experience exchange among the disabled community in the city.

The 'Accessible Çanakkale Workshop,' attended by the Dean of our Faculty, Prof. Dr. İlgi Tosun, Dr. Teaching Assistant Rüya Sessiz, Dr. Teaching Assistant Alpin Değirmenci, ÇOMÜ (Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University) Social Responsibility Project Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hicran Özlem Ilgın, Coordinator Assistant Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nazan Çalbayram, was also attended by Governor İlhami Aktaş, Director of Family and Social Services Şuayip Üner, Deputy Director Elif Yaman, President of the Turkish Disabled Association Çanakkale Branch Ümit Burunlular, Director of Yenice Disabled Life Care Rehabilitation and Family Counseling Center Murat Mangır, Branch Manager Serap Çağlar, academicians, representatives of institutions, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and disabled citizens.

At the workshop where ÇOMÜ (Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University) Faculty of Dentistry, ÇOMÜ Social Responsibility Project Coordination, Directorate of Family and Social Services, and Yenice Disabled Life Care Rehabilitation and Family Counseling Center came together, consensus was reached on enhancing inter-institutional collaboration efforts and implementing projects.
